A quiet Berlin Neukölln backyard, in front of my kitchen window. It's the place of a casual long term documentation, of what i'd call a "sonic home". See http://aporee.org/maps/?loc=2104

This is the sound of a one bedroom apartment. Mouldy. The kitchen and living room are alright, although it is hard to have more than three friends over for dinner. Gas heated. Close to amenities and some local attractions. Close to a park. I can seen from my kitchen window a church. My neighbors are young and sometimes rowdy students, but most of the times the area is quite peaceful. At the time of the broadcast, me and my girlfriend will be sleeping. This is the sound of a couple resting.
